Gobondery

Gobondery consists of a single tenement, EL6534 that is located approximately 50km NW of Northparkes, just south of Tullamore. Gobondery sits within an inlier of Ordovician arc that is interpreted to have been rifted west off the Northparkes Igneous Complex.

The main Ordovician arc unit within Gobondery is the Raggatt Volcanics, which consist of shoshonitic andesitic lavas and volcaniclastic rocks and have therefore been tentatively correlated with the Wombin and Goonumbla Volcanics at Northparkes.

Gobondery was formerly a Gold Fields JV project which was returned to Clancy after Gold Fields withdrew from the JV in 2010. Work completed during the JV included aircore, RC and diamond drilling and 3D IP surveys. Several targets remain to be tested included potential for epithermal gold mineralisation in the north of the tenement and deeper intrusive related mineralisation in the south the tenement.
